I started publishing my own materials and building businesses pretty early compared to most of my friends. The best I got out of this was I had the privilege to make my mistakes quicker and I have more time to pursue and explore more possible ideas.
The best I got out of [building businesses early] was I had the privilege to make my mistakes quicker and I have more time to pursue and explore more possible ideas.
From time to time, during conversations my friends ask me on how to build a business. I like to just laugh first to test if it was a serious question as I’ve learned that not everyone asks this question seriously so I don’t jump into a whole lecture on entrepreneurship. If it was a serious question, I start talking and tell them that if they are considering building their own business one day, I recommend to use the Business Model Canvas or BMC. So that’s exactly why I made this video.
In the first video, I share briefly about how the BMC:
- Helps you clear your head out
- Lets you see questions you may miss along the road
- Visualizes every important building block of your business
- Aids you to have a concrete outline for your formal business plan
Throughout the next few days, I’d like to take the opportunity to go into more details about each building block. See you then!
